Food Quality & Safety has been recently recognized with two APEX Awards of Excellence. Our October/November 2021 issue, featuring a cover story on cell-cultured meat, won an award for writing (entire issue) in the “Magazines, Journals, and Tabloids” category, and our regular column “Legal Update,” written by Joel Chappelle, Esq., and Shawn Stevens, Esq., won honors for writing in the category “Regular Departments and Columns.”
The awards are given by Communication Concepts and recognize excellence in publishing by professional communicators. They are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.
