Once you have completely reassembled your cleaned and sanitized machine, you are now ready to add product into the soft serve or froyo unit. Add fresh product mix, or the mix that you have saved, back into the hopper and turn your machine back on. Make sure to check the level indicators to ensure that you have enough mix in the machine. Add fresh mix if there isn’t enough. For most modern soft serve or froyo machines, it will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the serving stage.
Don’t forget about periodic health inspections and pest control certification. After cleaning, the product inside will taste better and you’ll have the confidence in knowing that you’re serving a safe product. It is vital that the machine is cleaned and sanitized regularly to keep your product as tasty and healthy as possible. Don’t let your workers skip out on this task. Have a way to hold them accountable for keeping your investment in good shape.

I can’t get ice cream machine sanitiser in the country I live in. Could I use baby bottle wash instead? Or what other alternatives are there?

Thanks for these tips for taking care of a soft serve machine. it’s nice to know that the product should be completely emptied from the machine. I’m interested to learn if it should also be rinsed out in case some of the product is stuck to the machine or if this taken care of in later steps.
